Rachel

Rachel joined our Rice Pet Clinic team in November 2023.  She has been apart of the animal welfare industry since 2009 with a background in Animal Training and Intuitive Leadership Development. Her passion for animals has taken her into many career opportunities which have had her working with various species ranging from exotic birds, reptiles, dogs and cats, and even with horses (her favorite!).

She joined vet medicine with her enthusiasm and passion for being of service to people and their animal. Having her own menagerie she tends to at home, she has a deep empathy and understanding for quality care of animals of all species; she loves to translate this passion into her work at Rice Pet Clinic.

Outside of clinic hours, you will mostly find Rachel at the farm with her horses, or, working on creative music projects with her community. Should you ever hear humming in the hallways of our clinic, it’s probably her! Her household is shared with a rambunctious kitten, a personable Golden Retriever, a curious ball python, and a talkative Sun Conure, in addition to two horses!
